About our Missoula insulation contractor and crew

Who I am, why we seal before we insulate, and what to expect when you have us out to look at your house.

From framing houses to fixing attics

I spent years framing houses before I switched to insulation, and I learned this trade working for an established installer before we started our own company here in Missoula in 2023. Framing taught me how a house goes together, so when I climb into your attic or crawl space I already have a good idea what's behind the drywall and under the floor before we open anything up.

Most of our calls come from folks in older houses who are tired of cold rooms, a drafty upstairs and a heating bill that climbs all winter, plus a few small business owners. We're best known for attic work done in the right order, with the leaks sealed before anything gets covered, because new insulation laid over a problem just hides it. I'd rather take the time to explain what I find in plain words than leave you guessing, and you can see the rest of what we do on our home page.

What you can count on from us

  1. You deal with the owner the whole way

I come out to look at your house myself and I work alongside our crew on the install, so the person who sized up your attic is the one seeing it through to the final walkthrough. If something changes once we're up there, you hear it from me.

  2. We look over the whole space before we quote

Damp spots, old wiring, droppings or suspect insulation get sorted out first, so you're not paying for fresh material that sits on top of trouble. Then you get a free written estimate that spells out what we'll do and why, with no pressure to sign.

  3. Leaks sealed first, insulation second

We start with air sealing, closing the gaps around can lights, pipes and the attic hatch, because insulation can't do much with a draft blowing through it. It's like squaring up a wall before you sheathe it, and it's what lets the money you put into insulation go to work.
