Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Summit Missoula Spray Foam Insulation website and any estimate, scheduling or work you arrange with us through it. By using the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job, you agree to these terms.
If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. You can still call us at (406) 317-4027 and ask anything before you decide. You can return to our home page at any time.
What we do
We're an insulation contractor in Missoula, MT. We insulate attics, walls, crawl spaces and basements, install spray foam and blown-in insulation, remove old insulation, air seal, and install vapor barriers for homes and commercial buildings.
The descriptions on this site are general information about our services. They don't promise a result for your house, because every building is different. The work we'll do on your job is the work described in your written estimate or agreement. You can read more about who we are on our About page.
Estimates and pricing
We give free, obligation-free estimates in person, because we can only price a job accurately after we've seen the space. Asking for an estimate doesn't commit you to anything.
Your estimate is based on what we can see and measure during the visit. If we open up an attic, wall or crawl space and find something the estimate didn't account for, such as wet or contaminated insulation, damaged framing or pest droppings, we'll stop, explain what we found and give you the added cost before we do any extra work. We won't add work or charges without your approval.
An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, material costs may have changed, and we may need to update the price.
Scheduling, access and cancellations
We'll agree on a start date with you, and we'll keep you posted if weather, material delivery or an earlier job pushes the schedule. Start dates are our best plan, not a guarantee.
You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area on the scheduled day and to clear or move belongings where we'll be working. If a job uses spray foam or other products with a re-entry time, which is how long people and pets need to stay out before coming back, we'll tell you ahead of time and you agree to follow it. We follow the product maker's instructions on this.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, let us know as soon as you can by phone or through our Contact page. If we've already ordered materials for your job, or our crew arrives and can't get access, you may be charged for those costs as stated in your agreement.
Payment
Your written agreement states any deposit, when the balance is due and the payment methods we accept. Payment is due as stated there.
If a balance goes unpaid past its due date, we may pause further work until it's settled, and we may use the remedies Montana law allows to collect what's owed.
Our guarantee and what we don't promise
We're licensed and fully insured, and we want you satisfied with the work. If something isn't right with the work we did, call us and we'll come back and look at it. Any written warranty on your job is the one stated in your agreement, and any warranty on materials comes from the material's maker.
Beyond that, we don't promise a particular drop in your power bill, a set indoor temperature or a specific result, because those depend on how your house is built, how it's used and the weather. The information on this website is provided as is, and we don't promise it's complete or free of errors.
Limits on our liability
To the extent Montana law allows, Summit Missoula Spray Foam Insulation isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses connected to this website or our work, such as lost use of a room or lost income. Our total liability for any claim connected to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
We aren't responsible for conditions that existed before we started and weren't part of our work, such as roof leaks, plumbing leaks, foundation problems or existing wiring. If we spot one, we'll tell you.
If we disagree
If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call us first at (406) 317-4027 or write to us through our Contact page. Most problems get settled with a conversation and a return visit.
If we can't settle it that way, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before filing a lawsuit. Any claim that still isn't settled will be heard in the state or federal courts serving Missoula County, Montana.
Governing law
These terms, and any work we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of Montana.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies. Changes don't alter a written agreement you've already signed with us unless we both agree in writing.
If you have a question about these terms, reach us through our Contact page or by phone at (406) 317-4027.
